Last day for the book give away!

School is starting and life is going to get busy.  I would like to give away two free copies of my cookbook to help with gearing up for the Fall.  Personally, my freezer is empty from the lazines and craziness of the summer.  It is time to stock my freezer again and get ready.  We will be stating dance lessons, music class, soccer, adult softball, preschool and 1st grade.  I’m feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment, but I know stocking my freezer will help.

From now until Monday Aug 23, I am giving away two free copies of  “Fabulous Freezer Meals: Over 200 Great-Tasting Recipes to Save Time and Money” published by Walnut Springs Press in Salt Lake City, Utah!  If you already have a copy, this book also would make a great wedding present or gift for someone you love so please enter.

This book is a collection of delicious recipes for great-tasting dishes that freeze well and that your family will love. With the unique ideas in this book, you can quickly and easily stock your freezer, ensuring that a convenient, delicious meal is always just minutes away.

Each recipe uses everyday ingredients and includes easy-to-follow instructions for preparation and freezing. Featuring recipes for entrees, soups, sides, appetizers, beverages, and desserts, this fun, informative book will change the way you cook!

Fabulous Freezer Meals was written by Jenny Stanger, who has a passion for both family and food. For several years, she has taught cooking classes and has made frequent Guest Chef appearances on local television shows.

  3. I would love to win a copy!! I started looking at Bento’s last year and have tried to make them. I am not very creative though. I love to look at them though and get fabulous ideas. I understand about wanting to send a big hug to your kids during lunch. Mine are starting a new school this year so I know the first few days will be shakey as they are makng new friends.

  6. many of my recipes lately have been inspired by this book. YAY. In our R.S. nightly meeting we talked about Bento Boxes. So cute. If only I had that much energy to put into something that my kid will “hopefully” eat and destroy. One of these days I will have to try it for my second grader!!!! :)

  7. I am thinking I need to be making some cake balls! Hello Oreo’s and Chocolate!

  8. I have had my eye on your book for awhile. I checked at more than one Costco many times when they were carrying it but never found it. I have gone to Amazon quite a bit and almost ordered it but couldn’t bring myself to pay for shipping and handling when I knew I could have purchased it cheaper at Costco. I’ve never won anything before. Maybe I’ll hit the jackpot and win one. Even if I don’t I will still enjoy using the recipes you have shared with everyone on your web site. Thanks.

  9. I like your article about lunches. We home school but I still need some make-ahead ideas to keep us on track.

Would love to try making them along with some of the other recipes in your book if I win a copy. :) I’m about ready to get my oldest back to school, my youngest starting in daycare, and me back to work after being on maternity leave. Yikes, I will need all the help I can get in time saving tips!!!

  18. I am seriously excited to try the bento ideas, and am looking forward to starting out an easier school year, with your freezing ideas on school lunches.

  19. Love your stuff. I would love a copy of the updated book (bought one before it was revamped!) Thanks for posting on the Dating Divas…what fun. 22. I first heard of your website and cookbooks after I read the article about you in “The Mormon Times”! I took a class on freezer meals once at a local Women’s Conference, and loved the idea, but tried it once and kind of forgot about it. Then I saw your article and it really inspired me again!! I now am going to host a “Freezer Meal Party” with some of my friends where we’ll all bring some ingredients and put together a meal, and I’m going to share a bunch of your tips!! :) So I would LOVE to have this book to show everyone when they come! :) Hope I win!! :)

  23. Jenna Corry- I “liked” you on facebook! :)

  24. AND I left a review! :)

  25. (Oh- The review is under “Jeffrey D. Corry”- my husband. I was just signed in as him!) :)

  26. A FB friend of mine mentioned you book on a post and I had to get it. I have my grocery store list ready so I can buy, cook & freeze for the next 10 nights. I truly wish I found this book earlier as I had trouble stock piling my freezer before my daughter was born. I recommend this book and a crock pot to any mother to be to help keep mom & dad fed while not spending a long time in the kitchen.

I don’t have time to freeze, but I am going to whip up Honey Pork Chops tonight and I’m beyond excited. The recipe sounds so good and easy (as the all are) and I ear marked the home make egg noddle recipe too. I wish I found that sooner!

    1. Oops, I forgot to mention that I left a review as well.

  27. We love freezer cooking – it makes dinner time so much quicker! Haven’t tried the bento stuff yet, but it’s a neat idea.
